Bitcoin ETF Inflow Streak Ends as BTC Stays Rangebound

U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs posted about $149 million in net outflows, ending a nine-day, $3 billion inflow run, while bitcoin holds the familiar $82,000–$85,000 band.

U.S. spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds recorded roughly $148.7 million in net outflows on Wednesday, ending a nine-day inflow streak that had pulled in about $3.1 billion — one of the strongest runs of the year, according to data cited by CoinDesk and The Block.

What Broke the Streak

Fidelity's FBTC led the redemptions with about $125.6 million in outflows, while BlackRock's IBIT saw roughly $9.5 million exit, ending its own nine-day inflow streak of about $1.6 billion. U.S. spot Ethereum ETFs also turned negative, with about $59.6 million in net outflows on the same day.

Bitcoin Stuck in the Same Band

Bitcoin briefly pushed above $85,000 after a softer-than-expected U.S. inflation reading cooled rate-hike bets, then faded as Treasury yields stayed elevated. Price action remains locked between roughly $82,000 and $85,000 heading into the new quarter — a range traders have been watching for more than a week.

Why Alerts Matter in a Choppy Range

When institutional flows reverse and price sits under clear resistance, the edge often comes from reacting quickly to breaks of support or resistance rather than predicting the next move. TradingSignal can help you monitor Bitcoin and major pairs with custom alerts on price levels and indicators so you catch a range break without staring at charts all day.
